It is determined that, the Feicheng rock salt resources cover an area of 20.44㎞²(in the Feicheng boundary)and the reserves of fifty two hundred million tons. the mine body bestows in the middle part of the anhydrite mine tape with layer by layer state intercrossing with anhydrite layers and offering itself ellipse bodies similar to silkworm cocoon on plane, overall inclining slowly to north west, trent N760W, inclination 3-7°,roof bury deep 690-1380 m, base bury deep 715-1700 m single drill hole seeing mine 4-31 layers, single layer thick 0.68-14.98m,single drill hole accumulating thick 4069-165.04 m, average thick 95.11 m and NaCl average grade 86.76%.So far, the water dissolving mining method has been adopted by the Feicheng refined sald factory for 10 years. The products have formed 7 big series and more than 30 kinds of the high pure special salts such as the refined table salt, the nutrition salt of health protection, the monosodium glutamate salt, the casing salt and the medicine salt with annaul output of more than one hundred and ten thousand tons, had been confirmed as the green product by the State and designated as the specially supplied salt by Beijing Zhongnanhai.
Adequate water and power resources and the limestone resources( there is the large scale rock salt ore deposit of CaO more than 52% explored and approved by the Sate) that is supplemented of the salt mine resource are suitable for building the large scale salt chemical enterprises in the Feicheng city.
