Clay resources
The clay resources spread in the boundary extensively and lie concealed mainly in the 4th Period alluviation layer. The distribution of ore bed; eastern-long is 3250m, south north width 410-1222m, average width 880m: the thickness of ore bed 1.98-17.60m, average thickness 5.89m, which is directly proportional variation relation to the thickness of 4th Series loess.
Ore feature; mainly, the sand clay containing mine powde, taking 65%-75%,which forms main mine body: secondly, the sand clay, taking 20%-25%,locating in the bottom in ore bed: additionally, a few kaolin, spreading in near base rock place of the ore bed bottom.
Chemical composition; normally, SiO:65-70%;Al2O3:14-16%;Fe2O3:5%-6%;CaO:1-2%;MgO:1-1.5%;K2O:2-3%;Na2O:0.10-1.60%;SO3:0.01-0.08%。
Quality property: quality equaler, n value (rate of sillicic acid)2.20-3.98, average 3.36, p value(aluminum oxygen rate)2.21-2.93, average 2.68 .Both n value and p value along the run of theore bed tred to the relation of growth and decline basically, in which, n value fluctuation is obvious, and p value is stabilized.
Reserves: get the level Ⅰ grade(B+C+D)20,380,000 tons, level Ⅱgrade(B+C+D) 7,310,000 tons, the total reserves(B+C+D) 27,690,000tons, in which, the reserves of B+C take 34%.
The clay is the important burden of producting cement, its good quality, large quality, suitability for opencast mining and intergrowth and complete with the rich and high quality carboniferous rock in boundary are the natural favourable factor that develops the cement industry.
