Coal resource
The Feicheng coalfield is the all concealed which belongs to the carbolic Permian Period. It is the important coal base of Shandong province. The mining area located in north 5 kilometers from urban areas, east is 35 kilometers away from the railway station of Shandong province. The mining area is 22 km long, 25 km south-north wide, 1065 ㎞²total area. The coalfield contains sixteen coal seams totally, in which 3-10 seams can be picked. The average coal thick is 11.5 m, the accumulated ascertained reserves amounts are ten billion and seven million tons.The coalfield seams are stable. The upper group coal belongs to the Shanxi group of the Permain Period. The coal seams are the gas coal, of which the sulphur componet is lower(contains sulphur SqQ≤0.7%),the ash content medium( Ag≤16%), the calorific capacity high( Qrdr 6600 cal/g), the cohesiveness medium; The lower group coal belonging to the Taiyuan group is the gas- rich coal, the coal qualityis sulphur componest is higher( contains sulphur SqO high 3.5% low), the ash content medium(Ag about 20%), the calorific(capacity( Qrdr 6500 cal/g).
In boundary, there are 11 pairs of pit, the production ability per year is six million five-hundred thousand tons, which may offer adequate fuel and energy for industrial production. Now it is developing vigorously the energy extending industries such as the coal-electricity-aluminum and the coal chemical engineering.
