High quality calcareous rock resource
The calcareous rock is an advantage minerals of the city, its resource is very rich. It has characteristics such as many layer positions, broad distributions and good quality, and has a huge development potential.The mine body mainly is distributed in a middle part of the Feicheng city with an area of 100 ㎞² and the forecast resource of forty-five billion tons.
To the calcareous rock resource of the city, the First Geology Brigade of Shandong Province has already explored and issued “The detailed geological survey report for the cement limestone of Feicheng city”. That , the Feicheng has the detailed geological survey report for the nonmetal minerals, is the nation-wide first. As stated in the survey report, the limestone reserves of the levels B+C+D taking 75% of the total reserves of calcareous rock bestow in the layers of the Zhangxia group of the Cambrian Period and the Majiagou group of the Ordovician Period with about 8°angle of inclination, the ore body exposing on the face of land is easy to be mined.
The ore type is two mainly: one is the calcareous rock of impact block form with CaO average being 52.37% and Mg average content less than 0.77% other is the calcareous rock as erythema leopard leather with CaO average content being 51.92% and MgO average content less than 120%, it is rare low-basylous calcareous rock. The chemical composition average content of the calcareous rock mine body in boundary ---CaO: 51.92%; MgO: 1.19%; SiO2: 2.87%; AL2O3: 0.62%; Fe2O3: 0.36%; K2O: 0.15%; Na2O: 0.05%;SO3: 0.03%; loss on ignition 42.09.
In the Feicheng boundary, there are not only the cement limestone of good quality and big quantity, but also the resources such as considerable rich chemical limestone and flux limestone.
The Calcareous rock is used mainly to produce the cement and the building stone materials, the reserves and properties of the Feicheng city calcareous rock suit to build the large scale cement enterprises of high quality and high-grade cement.
